My partner and I enlisted Debs to help us know we were training our new puppy in the right way. She responded to us quickly and suggested we have a phone call with her first before booking any training sessions, which we really loved. This meant we got a chance to get to know Debs prior to training starting, and she got to know us, and what we needed from her, a little better too.

When she arrived at our home for our 121 puppy sessions, Harris connected with her immediately and, as the lessons went on, it was clear how much he enjoyed her company and the training sessions. We learnt some excellent tips & tricks from Debs, and we have a lovely, well behaved dog because of this. I would highly recommend Debs as a dog trainer!”

On our last session together, we spoke a lot about Harris pulling! He still does pull, but I think it’s mainly just excitement. We discovered though, that using a harness on him which attaches a lead from both a front and back clip, really REALLY helps! I’m not sure what it is, but he’s much easier to control and definitely pulls less whilst on it (unless VERY excited for the park!)

Debs is very professional and has given me the confidence I needed to manage my new puppy. She taught me some techniques which are proving really useful.

Dudley (my extremely large Labrador puppy) and I have really enjoyed our time with Debs. She is a calm and knowledgeable presence who has introduced us to positive training methods which have had a wonderful effect on Dudley’s behaviour and our ability to manage him. We are a busy family with lots of distractions, but Debs has always been willing to work around us and to involve all the family members in the training. She provided manageable goals within each session, and provided a wealth of additional suggestions via e-mail. We are taking forward a number of approaches which will require continued practice but which will stand us in good stead for the future. Most of all I think we will just miss Debs!

Thanks to you for all the helpful and supportive training that you gave us. It really is great to have people that know what they are talking about! I’ve heard some horror stories about puppy classes but always felt very safe and supported by you, which of course goes for Donut too.

A huge thank you from Monty and I for masterminding the excellent puppy training course. We still have much to work on, but feel that the foundations are now in place for Monty to take his place in polite society!

Debs had a very thorough understanding of a complex situation with our dog and his behaviour from the first meeting. Also recommend and discussed different solutions in detail. Fantastic dog behavior knowledge and diverse experience.

Hi this is my dog Benji. I hired Debbie to do some training with him one on one. It was the best thing I’ve done. I can only say it helped brilliantly: he no longer runs away, pays more attention to me when we’re out and comes back when I call him.
